Default Cheap Lifts

I have 96 ram extended cab. I lifted the rear with 3"lifting blocks, but I am not sure what to use in the front coil springs....I have tried using the aluminum spacers, but the nose still saggs. I was also reading in a truck mag that there is a polyurethane coil seat and coilover spacer that was used to get an additional 2-3 inches. Can any one help

If i am thinking of the same thing that you calling the coil seat, its sometimes called a "leveling kit". All it does is raise the pocket of the spring to level out the 2" different between front and rear on the stock trucks. I also hope that the 3" blocks are kinda of wedged shape to align up the drive shaft angle, other wise you might be putting extra stress on the u-joint if you intend on having any serious fun. Also be aware that I have heard (magazine articles) of the block sometimes breaking due the the more rotational flexing of the axel.

hey Thanks For the important info. Actually the blocks I have at the moment are not slanted, but i was planning on changing them anyways. One other question .... how would you lift the front end other than using the leveling kit???

You can lift your front end using a new coil spring. That would ride better than a coil spacer anyway.
