that install above is a clasic case of why things burn mysteriously..... the posative wire, where it runs into the hole in the lower tiebar/ radiator bar.. NEEDS a grommet or a few wraps of electric tape then wireloom.....

true but there is no tension where that cable is going in.. so i doubt it wont rub and burn up. i did the same thing and nothing has happend. i think your just paraniod

yeah well, I have repaired more wire fires than you could imagine from owners that said just that....... wires should NEVER be left to vibrate or rub, they need to be zip tied or taped TO somethign ever 18 inches or less, thinkt eh factory doesit cause its fun?? don't think it vibrates....think again,but again,its your truck....

ok **** i duct tapped the ****in whole dam wire front end and all the way to my switch.. happy ?








lol jk i didnt tape it. if fire happens. i'll be sure to record it

little more electrical tape right there....i can fix that, or get that black plastic sleeve thats split down the middle so you can slide wires in it, whatever you call that. they used that in my engine bay on my burban when they installed the system.

Got my lights in the mail the other day.. haven't looked at the instructions yet.. but I can't wait to get them mounted .. can never have enough light!!
