Default sound system

Hey all,
I'm not excited about the stock performance of my 2002 quad cab system. I've done a little research and uncovered a couple of custom subwoofer enclosures that supposedly fit underneath the backseat. 1 by Q-logic for a single 10". Another that includes 2 10s + 100W amp by MTX Audio, Thunderform. Anyone have experience with either of these models?

Hey BigRed, I have a 2003 QC Hemi and I purchased the MTX Box for under the rear seat. It replaces the fold out tray and it fits perfectly under the seats. It came in the same color as my interior so it looks like it came that way from the factory. I found the cheapest price from Crutchfield. Free shipping and no tax. They really sound good too. I ran a seperate amp to them.

first i tried a box on my 2004 quad cab that hat the speakers mounted outside the box, dont do it that sucked.

i then purchased the mtx box thats a solid enclosure it sounds good and looks good but it comes with mtx 4500 series subs, thats there bottum line so i recomend you buy the box but replace the subs... i went with rockford fosgate he2 they brought it to life sounds great.....

so now i have 2 mtx 4500 10" subs for sale if any one is interested
also have that box taht the subs mount under if you dont want to spend 400 for the mtx box..

You guys are killing me! haha....I want better sound too...and I took a look at Crutchfield and they only
showed the Q-Logic as a match for my 2003 Quad Cab. MTX didn't match up..UGH! Well, it looks like
I would need to get 2 of the Q-Logic, correct? or should I save my confusion for Crutchfield staff?! I didn't
want to replace the stereo, just wanted my music to rock a little louder!

Hey Hiatham,
What size subs are you wanting to run, which brand? There are boxes for the Standard cab, I own the standard cab and Run TWO 12" JL W6 Subs. I had the box made which is what I recommend. Pre-built boxes often come with air leaks. It was only 150 bucks to have made at Car Toys here in Washington and it fits nicely behind the driver seat (remove your tool box/shelve thingy). I can still slide my seat ALL the way back and lean it all the way back... and it pounds.

With a Regular Cab you can have Dodge put in the Infinity R sound system with 10 speakers and a 10" Sub behind the armrest in the cargo tray, it's the same system that comes in the SRT-10 Ram. It is also available with SIRIUS Satellite Radio.

[8D] Pro box has a box for 2 10" under the seat, and you can call the guys at Xtreme Tint & Alarms 281-492-8468 with questions. They can also custom make a box for 2 12".

While on the topic... does anyone know what the radio's wiring diagram for a 99 Ram would be? I can't find any links from Google and need to know what wires to tap into for my amp I am installing.
