Default slight ticking noise

Ihave an 04 1500 w/4.7ltr 28k mi. Recently Ive noticed a bit of a ticking sound in the engine, especially during start up. I use full synthetic oil every 6000 mi. Do not drive it hard at all. Always pampered. Anyone have this problem?Suggestions?

This might be a clue to your problem. At the 15k checkup, my independent mechanic found an exhaust leak at the left manifold rear gasket. I am taking it into the dealer for warranty repair this week. My mechanic asked if I had recently heard any 'ticking' noise at start up. I must admit I did, but did not investigate it further. If this thread is still active, I will post my findings after the repairs.

Reply to spicoli - ISTI is back from the Dealer (warranty repair) today. The exhaust manifold gasket was deemed OK, but the manifold mounting bolts were 'loose', especially rear left side. Technician found other bolts both sides not torqued to specs. Resolution was all bolts tightened to torque specs and cold start 'ticking' noise is no more.

What kind of oil pressure do you have when at idle? I know mine is low until I get on the gas some
