Default Ticking Noise in my Hemi

Hey guys, does anyone know why there is a ticking noise in my Hemi? It sounds like a flat lifter does or even a solid lifter cam does that needs adjusting. Do I need to take it to the dealer, or is it a normal sound?

Thanks

Take it to the dealer just in case. Chances are, with the ECU monitoring so many things, you would get a dash indicator if it were a lifter issue. Better safe than sorry my friend...

If the ticking noise is when you first put it into gear, its normal. I saw it in writing somewhere (the owners manual i think).

Mine has a kind of spring bed sound that comes from the back from time to time and it sounds like the front suspension creeks a little bit when pulling in the driveway and doing things like that. I took it to the dealer and it made no noise at all, so i felt stupid. When I got home from the dealer it made the noise again so I just gave up and told my dad to take it back some other time.

That's funny, but it seems like it always happens like that. I think cars have a sixth sense, huh? It is in the engine though. It almost sounds like an exhaust leak.

Yea it is kind of funny, not that day but later on it was. The exhaust might be the problem for the sound in the back, it started right after we had it installed, but MOPAR installed it not some random guy so it should be good. I think the sound in the front is the suspension because it only happens going into the driveway or when it's really bumpy. I could be way wrong though.
