Default Performance Spark plugs and Wiring

Hey all,

I want to switch out the spark plugs and wiring in my Truck, which is the best brand to go with... will spark plugs really make that much of a difference?

As far as what's best, everybody has their opinion. Myself, I lean toward NGK. Just make sure you change both plugs per cylinder. Why do you want to switch the plugs and wiring? Are you having a problem? The wire set ain't going to be cheap, if you can even find one other than at a dealership. Don't know if any aftermarket ones are available or not.

Well I'd like to change em with hope I'd get some sort of performance improvements, there isn't anything wrong with them my truck runs like a champ... just always looking for ways to improve my baby.

I would wait until you have to replace them. You aren't going to get that big of a gain from them. Like mazz said, it's not going to be cheap. When you do make that change I would go with NGK plugs.

Anybody else try Splitfires?
I tried them on a 3.9 Dakota once, didnt think it made any difference.

I've tried the Splitfarts twice, never again. Big waste of money.

i use to use the bosch platinum +4's, i really didnt notice any difference whatsoever with a plugs and wires change.
