Whats happenin Dodge Ram owners? I must admit, dodge rams are pretty cool. But i have raced 3 separate dodge rams and beat them all. I thought the dodge ram was supposedly the monster of all trucks. What happened there? BTW IM NOT TRYING TO CAUSE ANY TROUBLE. I just thought that i would have lost and i want someone to fill me in about why i ended up beating these dodge rams. Some info on them is... all were 1500s, said "Hemi" on the fender, one had AM 22 inch rims, the others had stock wheels, one for sure had a custom exhaust and probably an intake. I am in no way bagging on dodge rams, but where did all the power go? Does the ram weight more than a titan? Can someone bring in some evidence on what the downfall was for a bigger engine?


Please dont flame, im not trying to tick you all off... i am just curious as to how i beat a more powerful engine.

You sure they were racing?

Your truck weighs somewhere between 4800 and 5000, Rams weigh between 4500 and 5500 depending on the truck, plus options. I'm pretty sure the gearing in your tranny/rear end is shorter than in a Ram, but racing is more about the driver than the hardware.

 

Race a SRT-10 Ram then come back and talk to us. Ram 1500's are fast with the hemi's just they are Work trucks not racing truck.. think about it. ur pos titan is just a car with a lift kit

 

its funny when out of nowhere someone comes up with their assessment of a race and concludes that their Titan whipps *** on a hemi, mainly because, I, myself have whipped *** on 2 of them... but thats ok, lad, you go and keep up the good work... and if your ever in NC, give me a shout and well see "who beats who" on the streets .... I love to give you a try.... and if you win, I'll shake your hand, but if you lose, well you can eat the crow you have been feeding us here....
