Has anyone used rims smaller than 17 inch on 04 ram 1500 4X4? I wasn't sure if the calipers would cause a problem?

 

Hey dmod, I went tire and wheel shopping yesterday and I found a set of 35 x 12.5 x 16 on 16 x 10 for real cheap, but the only way I could get them to fit was if I did some Ford engineering on my brake calipers. The smallest rim I could get on my 2003 QC 4x4 Hemi is a 16.5".

 

Some aftermarket 17s won't even fit the new Rams. The brakes are huge. I'd not even want to try 16.5s for fear of problems.
