Did you bother to search the topics first...? LOL!! We have had lots of this discussion.

I have the K&N FIlterCharger System, I love it... many people here have K&N, never heard a complaint for any of them.

I put one on the Hemi when I first got it so I really can't give you an honest answer on MPG. The butt dyno could tell a difference. Even if there wasn't a performance difference, I would have one just because it filters better.

So you get an average of what, 10c/14h without the filter, so 2-8 mpg increase would be 12-18c/16-22h. I would like to get half of what you claim, 1-4.

Both my rides have a k&n in them, both cone filters w/heat shield. Wouldn't trade it for anything... (well O.K. maybe a supercharger... but it would still have the k&n on the input side :-) ).

Both run much better and have dyno #'s on one of them (not the ram) which showed a good 7+ ft lbs of torque right where I want it and 6.? hp about another 2000 rpm's past that (also right where I want it). Worth every penny.
