The closer you live to an Indian reservation in Montana, the better your chances of getting your truck stolen. There are seven reservations there and the residents sometimes get fired up on the white man's liquor and go crazy. I lived in Great Falls, Montana and a drunk Indian took out my entire back fence in my back yard one night.
The real kicker is the police couldn't go after him since he lived on a reservation...only the Indian Police could touch him. Needless to say, I never got justice.

Man, did you see where the Silverado's rated?

It is in the top 3 in almost all of the states!

Perhaps the Silverado is rated higher because it is easier to break into and hotwire

It must be expensive to insure.

I have heard that GM autos have been easy to steal.

I used to live on the flathead indian reservation in Montana, and I can definately tell you that it can get crazy when you introduce the white mans liquor to the indians. Every 4th of july, they had a 3 day POW WOW right down the road from my house. Major big drunkin party, with drums banging 24 hours a day! Don't get me wrong, I'm not bad mouthing the indians, I had some good indian friends. Just some can get really wild!!

I was stopped in my brand new Silverado a few years ago, the cop couldn't see the temporary tag in the window and he actually could not comprehend that it was my truck. By the time I got rid of that piece of *&%$ Silverado that I had for a total of 364 days, I would have paid somebody to steal it! It was actually very easy to break into. Let me say, that the truck wasn't all bad, it was just one of the ones that had transmission problems at 12K miles. I found my Ram while staring out the showroom window at the Chevy dealer waiting on my truck to be fixed! It was across the road at the Dodge dealer, just calling my name! So, everything happens for a reason, even if you live in Montana!
