I know in the laramie model 1500 it comes with silver face plates. Can you put on the wood grain mopar over it or do you need to take the silver plates of first.

I looked at available kits and they are for
non-Laramie 1500's. The door panel is
different.

 

Here's the question. I have a choice of the laramie or slt. i know i can put it in the slt because it comes with the regular face plate. laramie has the silver plate. can i really put it in the laramie. I am ordering the truck special order tomorrow and would really love to know if it is poss. i love the wood grain look. please help a new dodge owner
