Well after posting here a few times and asking you guys for advice not to mention looking at a bunch of Dodge Rams 1500 and 2500's over the past few weeks I have made my decision and it is a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4X4 with the Cummins Turbo Diesel I looked at over 25 trucks and here are the specifics on the one I am buying: It is a 2004 2500 4X4 SLT Quad cab short bed and it is a manual transmission ( I just didnt like the auto with the diesel) It is silver in color with grey interior and here is the deal so let me know if I am paying to much......... I will pay invoice + $100.00 so my price on the truck is 33,546.00 - $2,500 rebate = $31,046.00 Do you all think it is a good deal ?? Anyway I plan to pick her up this Sunday and as soon as I get her home I will post pics ! Man now the wait is going to kill me !!!

Sounds like you got a good deal to me. As long as you are happy with the deal, that's what counts. Gee, you only have to wait til Sunday? Where I live, dealers are closed on Sundays. At least it was on the lot as opposed to ordering. Then you'd have to wait for several Sundays.

I'm starting to think I got ripped off. 2004 QC SLT 1500 2X4 with 4.7spray in bed liner power everything $28,000

 

Here's a comparison. I have a 2004 QC SLT 1500 4x4 with Hemi, no spray in bedliner, power everything. List was $35755. Invoice was $32073. I paid $32273, less $2500 rebate (in effect at the time), for a net cost of $29773. I'm starting to think you got ripped off too. If it makes you feel any better, I've been ripped off more often than not.
