Hey everybody. I'm a new member here and this is my first post.

I've got an 88 full size Ram with a V6. I've been driving it for about 3 years now, and I've been toying with the idea of taking the V6 out and putting in a killer engine with some serious growl to it. My truck's paint doesn't look so hot, and I'm thinking about putting something powerful in and having a sleeper as a result. I might even add a supercharger down the road.

Anyway, I was hoping someone could suggest an engine that would work with my truck. I don't know a lot about this kind of thing, but you've gotta start somewhere. My uncle told me to think about a big block, but I can't find anything on the internet about anyone putting a big block in an old Ram.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
