I'm looking for advice on installing remote door locks on my truck. It is a 2005 QC 4x4 St with 4.7 No power door locks. I need info. Is the facory wiring there and I only need the actuators or will I have to run all the wires. Thanks for any help.

I have an 04 ST also and I would like to know. I have been contemplating taking the panel off to see, I know many manufacturers wire all the trucks the same, but I dont know if they still do that or not. I will be out of town for about a week, but when I get back I may pull the panel off to see.

I got it for $22k it had 600 miles on it demo. I just got it 2 weeks ago I love it already. Replaced factory stereo with a nice Pioneer mp3 cd. I'm looking at the idea of cranking up torsion bars a little to level it. I'm also looking for a hitch to tow a small camper with.'

 

I put them on mine,bought a unit with two remotes off e-bay for $60,its a small block unit that plugs in to the back off your clocks,i plugged it in and put clocks back on and hit
the button and horn sounded and all doors locked.Same as what comes from factory.

 

You just installed the remote then .I need everything. Actuators and all.

 

Bruce, i want to know where you got the kit, and exactly what was in it. Meaning, which kit, and who you got them from off of ebay. Can you help me out? Also, did the kit have the actuators, or are they already on the truck, just not installed electronically?
