Default Question about keyless entry system

I just bought a 99 1500 club cab and love this truck. The only thing is it doesnt have power windows. Will I be able to have an keyless entry system installed on my truck?

Keyless entry has or should have no bearing on power windows...its power locks that is the issue....if you do not have them, they can install the motors...but it is ALOT more coin....

its hard to say...if they want your business really bad...they might toss the parts in cheaper...price the motors at the dealer....cuz u wont need the internal switches....that should save ya some coin...

I used to install automotive accessories for a living. Adding power locks to a vehicle is not hard at all if you're mechanically inclined. You can get aftermarket actuators fairly cheap, and then all you'll need to do is run the wires from the keyless entry module into the doors. But if it's not something you're up to doing yourself, unfortunately... it probably will be kind of pricey. Shop around, you may be surprised as to how much prices can vary from shop to shop.
