Aftermarket parts installation questions
Just a couple of probably pretty easy questions, but ones that I'd like some input on. I'm adding a wiper cowl to my 2004 truck and it is going to be necessary to move the hood forward a bit. Is this as easy as just loosening the two bolts and adjusting the hood forward or is there more to it than that? What is the best way to do this?
Also, I'm ading a spoiler to my tonneau cover and I need to drill four holes into the fiberglass. Is there a specific bit I should buy for this? Is there a trick to drilling into fiberglass so it doesn't crumble around the edges of the holes?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The cowling...I have never installed, but I can not imagine it to be too difficult...the hood is about 4 bolts...and it should be just making the correct adjustments is all...
as far as drilling into the fiberglass....make DAYUM sure the bit is sharp as possible....then make your measurements, and tape a 4 inch area....this will stop the chipping and flaking of the fiberglass and paint...but make sure that bit is the best....spend money if you have to!.....

Thanks. I'm glad somebody responded. I'll just take my time and work with these things a litle and I think everything will be okay. I'm off to the hardware store to look at drill bits. Thanks.
