Default 2"Coil spacers

Has anyone used just coil spacers to run bigger tires?
I'm looking at 2" coil spacers. The ad says that they give enough lift to clear 35's.
Can I run 35's on stock 16" rims? Thanks for the help

35"s would be very tight with just a 2" front lift. 2" lift and a 3" body lift would allow you to run that big of a tire. If you can find a 35x11.5R16 tire, you should be able to mount them on the factory rims.

I own a 99 4x4 1500 RAM. Current I am running 33" without any lift, and they rub when I do a full turn either way. I just bought the Skyjacker 2" leveling coils (more expensive, but give you more suspension travel compared to a coil spacer) IF you can afford it, get the 2" coils. They run about $180 cdn for the pair.

Do the 33's clear w/the 2" front lift now? I came across a website that had a chart on the different stock coils & their ride height change, may be a cheeper way to go.

Also, did you have to change the shocks? If so which one did you go with.

I havent installed the kit yet. I am actually running BFG AT LT285/75R16 tires which are a 32.7" diameter (or very close to it) After I install the 2" kit, that will fix the slight rubbing problem. Check out this thread https://dodgeforum.com/tm.asp?m=23204.

This is what I bought. (Installing in the next few weeks, results and pics to come)

I'm running the same tires w/o rubbing, but I've got some cr@ppy stock rims. Is that a dual steering stabilizer included in the kit? How much was your kit? How is your tracbar?... mines shot and needs to be replaced before any lift happens.

The tires I have on there right now rub just a little when I am in a parking lot, and making a turn as tight as possible.

As far at the prices go, here is the break down:
(KEEPING IN MIND THIS IS CANADIAN FUNDS)

- 2" Skyjacker coils $189.82 for the pair (list price is $253.09)

- Skyjacker Hydro Shocks $48.75 each (list price is $65.00)

- Dual shock steering kit $133.60 (list price is $178.14)
(inc shocks)

If you order anything from www.nsor.com, tell them you are from outside of B.C. and you will get a better deal.

Your from CA right steve00ram360? Shipping shouldnt be too bad then, BC is just above you.

When you leveled out your truck, did you need to adjust the sway bar linkage? Or loosen the sway bar from the chassis so it could move with the additional travel?

Any help would be appreciated.

some people take the sway's off, i ended up using 3/4 ton coils that gave me about 2.5 inches of lift.
I don't plan on taking my sway off since 75% of my driving is on-road or dirt road. I did disconnect
the links though so I could install the springs.

You can buy a sway bar drop down kit by Skyjacker from summit for about $33 US. Or you could make your own, very easy to do.
Once the lift is in place with the sway bar attached at the lower points hold it level and add that much of a spacer. I have done this on many Chevy's. I used the drop down kit for my Dodge though, was to lazy to go through all the trouble.

Hey I have installed the 2" coil spacers on my truck and I am running 315/75/16 which is the same as a 35/12.50/16 on stock rims without any rubbing. but also mine is a 3/4 ton if that helps you out any.
