I bought all the tubing and ordered the rest of the parts for building my own 4" CIA. I bought the tubing and Reducer @ local Home depot/ Lowes for $20.00. I got the K&N Filter and insulation from Summit racing for $75.00. I fabed up the tubing today and will finish it up when the filter and insulation gets here. I'll post some pics and measurements on building it. It will be the same as another Ive seen for sale, but I won't mention the name. I'll have right @ $100.00 in it when complete. Thats saves me about 1-2 hundred Bucks!!

Sounds like a good set up...but tell me...what good is going that large if you still have the stock TB and exhaust?? ( I am assuming you do). You should look into a Fast Man TB and some exhaust work to go with the CAI!!!
Intake/exhaust components work well together, and you see better gains from each item when its paired with another one.
Such as CAI - Cat Back, and TB - with Headers!!

Im actually pricing exhaust as we speak. I got to save up for the exhaust. its not cheap! I might change the Throttle after my warranty runs out. I wanted to go 4" just for the look of it and the extra air on demand. 3" tubing don't hold as much CFM of as as 4".

Right, right..![Smile](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
save your self a few bucks on the exhaust and just get the muffler at a local shop and have them bend the pipes for you...it will cost less than the cat back!!
Also, why wait for the warrenty to expire?? A new TB wont void the warrenty...it cant
Besides...TBs from the Fastman are modified Stock TBs

Ill check out the TB. Does a TB spacer help the 4.7? Ive seen people don't think they are worth the money on the hemi. The only thing I don't like about the muffler shops exhaust is that they don't mandrel bend the pipes and usually soemwhat kink the pipes going or the axle.

No, dont get the spacer!! Its a waste of money and time spent installing it!!
The spacer was first used to put a spiral on the air/fuel flow comming from the Carb to the intake man. Thus making a more even mix.
Now that the fuel is injected directly into the cylander, there is no need for the spacer!!
