Default Disconnect traction control?

I've heard rumors that it is possible to disconnect the traction control from the computer of my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. Is there any truth to the rumor and will it screw anything up if I do it?

if i'm not mistaken it was possible on the 03's because there were 2 seperate boxes, in 04 and up DC wised up and made it all into one unit, there is no longer a wire to disconnect.

Today I went to the dodge dealer and asked this question. The service man said it can not be done on the 05.
