Thanks for all the good info on the 4.7 vs 5.7 engines. I'm leaning toward the 4.7, but I'm going to have to test drive one first. I've got another question now about what rebates are available. I know about the $2500 rebate, plus I get a $500 Farm Bureau rebate, but what is this "Truck Month Rebate" mentioned in another post. I've only looked at one dealership so far, but the salesman said an additional $1000 rebate was only available if you traded in a vehicle. I'm going to purchase the vehicle straight out with no trade. What is the true rebate amount I should get???? Thanks again for all the help.

Truck month rebate is 3500 until 3/31/04. Or you can choose 0 finance for 48 months.

 

I have an '03 and got it in November. It was one of the last '03s on the lot in Houston. The sticker on it was $30,000 and some change. I got it out the door with TT&L for $24,500. Since the '04s had just come out, I think they were trying to get rid of the '03s.

 

Great deal, is it a Quad or Reg cab.

 

Quad Cab 4.7L, 20" wheels, 3.92 rear-end, tow package, fold-flat storage, 4-wheel ABS, and body moulding. I believe these were all the options that the truck came with. The 4-wheel ABS comes in handy because I tailgate real bad.

 

If you can prove you own your own business (tax return, sellers permit, federal tax ID #)you will qualify for another $300.
