I was under the assumption that my '02 QC had a 3-speed tranny. But is it really a 4-speed when the O/D is on? My K-5 is a 4-speed but, it has 2nd "D" on the prindle..I know..dumb question, but I had to ask.[8D]

 

I'm not sure about the '02, but I know my '03 has a 5-speed automatic transmission. As far as your K5, I believe the second D is overdrive. On all newer cars, the D is automatically overdrive and they give you the option to take it off.

 

The OD is always on. You can choose to turn it off by depressing the button on your shifter arm. It should then display on the instrument panel that the OD is off.
