As Redneck as I am, I have straight pipes and recommend straight pipes for performance. Hey no resistance or back pressure!!

Fellow rednecker here. I was thinking of putting on the old tube glasspack on. How much louder is the exhaust. I am assuming that you are running duals.

I don't have a hemi but I do have duals, and it is really loud. I set of car alarms at the house 3 houses down when I start it, then the stereo helps too.

I am either going with a custom flowmaster 40 h pipe cat back system or just getting the Gibson dual sport Catback. The gibson sounds Sweet. But I think I can get a local muffler shop tp do me a custom flow 40 for around the same price.

Hey devious you didnt lose any back pressure? I installed duals on my hemi and lost all of my bottom end (no CAI at that time) I now have a CAI and am in the market again!!!! any advice? I would even stay with the custom single 50 flowmaster if It will help me increase my performance. MY off the line now is nasty, but the straight exhaust can not get rid of the exhaust pressure fast enoughand sounds like blowing through a straw.......I have a 2.5 straight into the 2.5 in and out muffler and out the back.....should I change it out to a single 3"? any one have any true information to support this or the duals?

I'm not sure which is the best, but I like my Corsa catback system. It's probably the most expensive out there, but take a listen: http://home.earthlink.net/~dunderhi/

I am running a flowmaster with a K&N intake on my 2001 5.2
I am just curious how many of you run CAT converters and how many just get rid of them. I want to take mine off but don't want to loose any low end. I already have almost no low end with my big tires. Any thoughts?
