also - what engine do you have, and did you improve your mileage with PCM and premium gas - is it cost effective - you can justify gas cost for improved miles

Your right... passenger side, at firewall...

As for the sound... that's tough... could be a number of things... there's alot of parts in there... Since it's not in gear and it's making noise, it *might* be the trans pump... maybe the torque convertor... and there's a few otherbig componentsin there... I'd get it so the dealer before something breaks lose inside of there.

I have the 5.9L 360. The Mopar Performance PCM came with mine, I put one on another Ram a few years back and the differance is GREAT! I prefer to 'race' around town... that's good for me... If you are really just using yours as a daily driver... right now might not be too cost effective because of the price of premium gas (actually I don't know where you are... Premium is pricey in Michigan right now).

The HP is apparent... right away. As for the cost versus mileage... it'll help a few miles a gallon I'd say... It's not recommended for any towing, so that might stop you. But the regualr PCM doesn't require premium gas... and that could solve a problem... the trans knock frightens me... LMAO! You REALLY should be able to go back and say something about it... you were techinically within the 30 days...

Deckerville...? I think I've been there... not for a great reason though... wasn't the Unabomber's house out there that way? LOL! I could be totally off... LOL!

How's Tennesee treating you?

Yea, the Performance PCM is mainly for 'racing' or speediness... I'm sure you can find an aftermarket one that is good for towing... they are out there.

actually deckerville is 22 miles east of decker (on m-53, north of m-46)

decker is the place you are talking about, and it is terry nichols, which is associated with the oklahoma city bombing

TN is a really great compromise - i have lived in tx,ca,fl,az, but came here every year to hike and fish

i have discovered you need to be south of mason/dixon & east of mississippi

today is not the greatest - 55 and drizzle - yesterday was 82 and i was in shorts - has been 80's till today

I knew it was something like Decker... my dad and step mom made me go on a car trip so they could be the awful gawkers we all hate. I hid in the car. LOL!

WOWIE!! You move alot... LOL! Why must you be south of the Mason/Dixon line and east of Mississippi? I like Michigan.. for the most part... I've lived in MI and New Hampshire... and Michigan is ALOT better then NH. LOL!

Mi people are great - weather sucks

here you get good weather - 4 seasons - about 3 weeks of winter - it never stays bad for long - any time of the year - and the people are very friendly

when you go west - it seems like the lack of vegetation has sucked the will to live from everyone - not sure - i am particularly speaking of colorado, which i realize i forgot to mention earlier as a state i previously lived

and the whole new england states are a little too pretentious, send them back to england if they want to go
