Exhaust ?
Does anyone make a true dual exhaust for the 2004 Ram 1500 w/hemi? The 2004 already has 2 cats where the 2003 only had one so all I need is the cat back. I haven't seen any that were dual exhaust. They all have one muffler with dual outs, no true duals.

500 BUCKS!?!?!?!? FOR EXHAUST!!!!! what was it gold plated??
Man....why does no one listen to me! You get the same sound and performance gains buying a muffler and taking it to a shop and have them bend the pipes for a fraction of the cost!!!
You can still say its a Flowmaster....do people carry around their recipts with them and compare who spent more rather than who can go faster these days??

$500 isn't bad if it is a true dual exhaust. A friend of mine had a flowmaster put on his 2003 and it cost him about $300 for the muffler, tips and the custom bent pipes. Joe,are you sure it is a dual exhaust. I don't think flowmaster makes true dual exhaust for the 2004. They do make a stock replacement but it only comes with one muffler. If that is all you got then $500 is too much, especially for Flowmaster. Those things are all show no flow.

Exhaust ?
The shop I went to got bad info from flowmaster. They sent the kit for the 2003 Hemi and the hangers were all in the wrong places. They phoned flowmaster and found out that it will be 30 days before the 04 kit comes out (duals). I may look into have the pipes bent like I did on my 01.

Exhaust ?
Ok I know its only a dakota but, I ordred some pipes from Summit and a Dynomax fully welded series muffler. So my current exhaust is now stock till the cat (for now) 3" to the muffler, and it has dual 2 1/2 outs. I made both tailpipes exit in roughly the same area as stock. I gotta come up with a cool looknig tip using both pipes. I like it, was about 200, including handers and another O2 bung. It took a while but I cut all the hangers off the old pipes and now the dual pipes use stock hangers.
