Default Flowmaster Exhaust

I have a 97 Ram 1500 Ext. cab 4x4 with a 3in suspension lift and a 3in body lift, and am in the market for Flowmaster exhaust. I was wondering if anyone out there has installed the Flowmaster American Thunder system on a truck with a body lift, and if so, what is necesarry to bring the pipes up close to the bumper? I am trying to decide whether to order the Flowmaster kit or just have my local exhaust shop make a custom system with a Flowmaster 40-series 1 in, 2 out muffler.

just get the muffer.

it will be cheaper, and you can have the shop put the tails right where YOU want them!

consider the aero turbine muffler... they work well and are a straight thru design. have one on my CTD and also a magnaflow behind it, all straight thru and it works great. brought back low end torque that was lost with just the mag in there.

I have an 03, with a 3" super 40, yeah 3" is over kill on a 4.7 but i just love the sound but people on my street hate it, but its not about them. but hey they are going to hate me more in a few weeks when i finish my 53 ford pickup i have been working on for 9 years, its got the dual 3" delta flow 40's, i set off car alarms when i drive the truck up and down the street when testing things on it. I love flowmasters
