when i started my 95 ram pickup the other day smoke came from the ignition and from under the dash by the steering column.what do i do replace the wiring or buy a new steering column or just take it to a shop and let them deal with it

Take it the dealer right away, there is a recall for that--Not all years and models but yours falls in the right symptom. Get me your vin I'll run it.
