New f-150 vs RAM HEMI ad
<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=red size=4>Did anyone see the new ad this past sunday where they claimed that the f-150 had more horsepower and torque than the Ram Hemi? Seeing as how the f-150 only offers 300 hp and 365 lbs of torque versus the HEMI's 345 hp and 375 lbs of torque that ad kinda got me steamed under the collar. What are your opinions?<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0"></FONT>

The one where they are side by side... and race off the line?Just like the Dodge version of it? LOL! I was SO angry when I saw that, Ford can't even think of original commercials anymore...

I hope so... I was appalled... but then again, I hate Ford with a red blinding passion... LOL!! Keep us infomred of what you know on it!

ok, I have seen the commercial a few times..and though it is misleading..the way the do it seems legal.
In the beginning at the bottom of the screen you will see the word "DRAMATIZATION"!!!! followed by peek HP and T reached at 1000 RPM.That gives the Ford more power off the line making it able to get that lead...the misleading part is with how far they race...the Hemi should have caught up cause after 1000 rpm...the fords power is gone!!

man i think its funny when the camaro guys are always talking about how they can smoke then new hemi rams from stop light and stuff. and i reply the same to every one of them, trucks arent made for racing there made to pull things, so have a pulling contest and see who wins. i give mad props to dodge they know how to make hp.</P>
