I've seen a lot of great decals out there for, but not limited to, Dodge trucks. I personally like the ram head in the back window look and lean more twords black and metalic colors. I also like the red white and blue one that is out. The point in this thread is I am looking to get one but I would prefer not to have the same old decal on the back of my window, is there a place out there that has some harder to find ones or someplace I may be able to take an idea to? Trying to keep my truck MY truck as much as possible. Thanks in advance for any input.

Look in the phone book under signs for a vinyl sign shop. Also the "fast and furious" type speed shops is where i got my dodge wndshied graphic. i couldnt find one so i found the "dodger" font , went there and for $25 it got put on. I figure I let him do it so that if it gets messed up he would replace it

Having the "pros" put it on is the only way to go. I use to have a Jeep and twice I messed up a sticker I tried to put on. Thanks for the ideas.

 

Like you, I've been looking for some different custom decals. I finally resorted to eBay, and contacted a few of the people there. I finally found a guy who's work impressed me, and for the past two weeks he's been going the extra mile trying to "build" a decal to my custom desires.

I ordered a HEMI front windshield, and (2) 14" back window RAM head and HEMI decals (I've got the sliding window, so no single big decal for me). He informed me Thursday they were on the way USPS Priority, so should be here Monday. As soon as I get them applied, I'll take a picture or two.

The cool thing is everything he does is "custom", and he won't resell the same design to somebody else. I got all three for $60, and I think I'm going to be impressed from the photos he sent to me. If they are that good, I'll be more than happy to give you his contact info (if that is allowed here of course).

And if this site has a problem with giving out a good source to help a fellow Dodge lover out we can just exchange e-mail addies and go about it that way. I put HEMI across the top of my windshield. And also a Ram Head with HEMI below centered on my rear window. looks sweet.

The decals on my rear window look better in person...that pic is a little out of proportion. I had them custom done. I work at a Dodge Dealer and the lady that comes around and does like the repairs to the interior of the cars, like burn holes and such, also does vinyl decals. She gave me a book of fonts I picked out the one I wanted. And she told me how big she could make them, and I said go for it, I LOVE THEM. Gives my truck some individuality, on top of it being an off-road package truck, which there aren't many of them around anyway. The lady the comes around is called "Dr. Vinyl" which is a national fanschise so many you can locate one where you're at and that person can hook you up.
