no go on procharger!!
Well i called procharger today and they said that they are still debating on whether they wanna mess with the hemi or now!! thanks to dodge there are 2 major reasons why they will probably not be making one for the hemi and here they are:
1) dodge made the hemi's with returnless fuel systems (which they said would take alot of research to figure out)
2) dodge does not want anyone to have the codes to their vehicles computers
THANK YOU MOTHER MOPAR
Which made me wonder, as good as procharger is (all blown drag cars have them) how the hell is kenne belle making one for the hemi???? obviously they know something that nobody else does?? i was looking forward to ordering a procharger today but not for sure if i want the hassle of a kenne belle as procharger is located here in KC and i would have easy access to any questions i wanted answered!!
Just thought i'd let ya'll know this information!!!

RE: no go on procharger!!
There is a guy here in KC that knows his stuff on SC's. Imagine Auto in Lenexa. He works on Porsches mainly, but put a KBelle on my 98 ram. It ran better, but for this climate, you really need a intercooler for real gains. I would tell anyone thinking of it they really need the cooler. I want the new KBelle for the hemi, they said end of June when I spoke to them last week. Main question was... will it override the damn govoner. Was racing a girlfriends STS the other night. I blew her off the line, but at 110 she blows by me sittin still. HATED IT> Eric

If ATI makes a setup it will be a mess. Trust me. They have terrible customer service and their kits usually have issues at first. As for the Kenne Bell unit, my opinion is that if you cannot tweek the computer on a dyno then the blower is worthless. You need to be able to tune each vehicle for climate and other perameters that may be unique to each vehicle. I can't stand these companies that tell you to just download their program and then when you have a problem you have to send the computer to them or the programmer. The only way to do it right is to tune it on a dyno.

RE: no go on procharger!!
i agree, i want to be able to program my car, cause if you live in kansas, the humidity is way hard on horsepower compared to the dry air of west texas!! Is kenne belle saying that you have one program and that's it and send it in if you have a problem???? that's crap if that's the way it's going to be, and the customer service with kenne belle is crap too, they'll tell you anything till they get your money then you're just a number!! I myself will probably not go with kenne bell unless they can get rid of the Torque management and let you tune the thing cause like you said there are different circumstances on each vehicle!!

I just want my truck to be FAST, and in my opinion there is no such thing as too fast, I don't care what I need to do. I will however, not gut the interior or anything like that on my truck, if I was going to go all out like that I'd buy a car from a junk yard.
My barber has a 2002 or 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 with quad cab, short bed, 4X4, and the 6.6L Duramax Diesel. He got a chip from Attitude called Juice that can raise his horsepower to 450 and his torque to 850. He ran a 12.2 in the 1/4 mile. I checked but they only have stuff for diesels. He also said I should take my Catalytic Converters off, since they don't check in Kansas, he said you really don't need to worry about it unless you are in California.

RE: no go on procharger!!
Thats ridiculous. This is why chevy and ford are controlling the performance market. Because they are constantly moving forward in the support level for their products performance. I mean, chevy has the infamous sbc. The hemi should be taking a big aggressive look at the LS6 engine, and want to beat it. Because if they made a pony car, and threw this hemi in there, it would have more power than the GT (about 300 horse) or the new GTO (350) horse. Trucks dont really inspire the masses to Hot Rod them out, I mean, the majority of truck buyers want a high up vehicle with a huge trunk. Almost everyone with a little pony car with a big engine bought it for the same reason.
And if they are not going to bring out a pony car, they should at least allow people to hot rod their trucks. There is only one Rumble Bee running around so far in my city of 60,000 people, and three Chevy SS's two of them are already supercharged. And its a BRAND NEW truck for this year. Ford has a supercharged truck right from the factory, and it was the first supertruck, and lots of people were buying it up like hotcakes. Before I bought my hemi, I thought of buying a 2 year old lightning, but I figured that the hemi would strike up the same excitement it did long ago.
Dodge really needs to look at what they were trying to accomplish. I mean, when you create two HEMI performance "look" packages, but yet, your truck is the slowest one out there in the big three. (a lightning is faster, and so is the SS in half the magazine reviews, but its got way more potential as performance parts are readily available from GM and from aftermarket)
So I mean, with all these "that thing got a hemi" commercials, and by rights, the new hemi BLOWS Away the old 5.9 and I mean, it does have a lot of power, it also has a lot of IRON, which is just the way I like it. But I mean, its like they just want to bring out the new 6.1 L hemi, and forget about the 5.7. All the 6.1 is is a slightly bored, and stroked 5.7. So maybe thats our ticket. Bore and stroke out our 345s and then we will get lots of power. I hope Dodge comes around on this. As I am sure all of you do. What all is available for the hemis so far, probably the same thing that makes hondas think they are fast, air filters and exhaust... correct? I know one easy power maker with the LS engines at Chevy is to put in 1.85:1 rockes.... I wonder if this strategy is possible with the shallow rockers that the hemi has on it already.

RE: no go on procharger!!
yeah, but you'd think you know you make all these different appearance packages that just scream "RACE ME" and well i'm not racing anyone till i get something to cancel torque management!! cause there's a lot of cars that run b/t 14.5-15.0 stock and i'm not wasting my time or gas to get beat!! they come out with the turbo on the srt-4, what's so bad with having one on a much stronger motor?????? make one and sell it for the hemi for 3K i know i'll have one!!!! It's almost like they're not making anything b/c they don't have to and they don't care what people think about them after they buy a 30K truck, hell they got all the money they're gonna get, what's it hurting them??? I love my truck and will probably keep it forever but will never buy anything chrysler again, too much hassle b/t that stupid dealership and the fact that they just don't bend with the market, the market is fast cars/trucks and they're not helping at all. take this into where chrysler's going!!
"If they would have wimped out like they are now back in the mid 60's to early 70's by putting bad *** cars out with motors that had potential, nobody would have bought them when the camaro/chevelle/mustangs woulda been twice as fast for the same money and modible!! and there would be no mopar! i have a feeling that with the craze that's going on right now with fast cars and modability that it's going to hurt them and they'll see it then they'll come out for alot of stuff for the hemi, but it might come to late!!!

RE: no go on procharger!!
I can't wait to see how me Rumble Bee runs with the new header/catalytic exhaust. It won't be at my door till Fri. or Sat. I know I will be looking into the Kennebell SC when the bugs are worked out. Did anyone notice the ORANGE hemi extended cab on Ebay a few months ago. It was the original SCharged Hemi. The guy told me the SC was taken off due to a few problems. Anyone know the details on that? I test drove the Crossfire; it was a nice car, I like the style, but didn't care for the rear wheel road noise. It wasn't much if any faster than the Bee though. When they get the SC version out next month it should be quite a quick car. 325HP in that little thing. Someone here was correct about the HEMI thing. If they don't put this engine where it should be soon, they're just dropping the ball big time. Could you see a styling cross between the old Roadrunner and Sebring or stratus with a 360HP hemi in it. That would sell like lemonade on a hot day. Eric
