Default Aggravating Noise...

I hear this noise 3 our 5 times that I turn. I know it is coming from the front passenger side, however I cannot make our what it is or where it is. Whenever I go over railroad tracks, I hear it sometimes too. I believe its the suspension, but I need some advice. Please help...

Have you checked your ball joints? They could be loose... upper or lower... have you checked?

I know exactly what your problem is man. If it sounds like a "clunk" coming from the front suspension when going over bumps(Speed bumps, ect) it is your torsion bars......I have a 04 Hemi quad cab 4x4 off road and had the same problem. Test to see if it is worse when the wheel is turned to its stop...then back up....mine came from the front-drivers side. They removed the bars, cleaned, lubed, replaced....noise gone.

RumbleBeeRam- I have the same rattle in my '03, with only 7k on it!! SOOO annoying, its in the same spot on the drivers side too, I will be taking it in to the "stealer"(dealer) to have them hopefully, fix it!! Good luck on yours too, you might try the same, eh?

Good luck to -bsbcc114523- on getting your problem fixed, might take it into the stealer also?

I just purchased a new 1500 and I am having both problems (front end "clunk" and driver’s side rattle.) The front end problems sounds exactly like the one described above and I will suggest the torsion bars when I speak to the service department at the dealership tomorrow. The rattle is coming from somewhere deep in the dash in front of me and I can not seem to pinpoint it. The real concern is that the noises seem random and never occur when I need them to, and you can be sure they won’t occur tomorrow in front of the mechanic. Anyhow I would really appreciate any additional input on these or similar “issues” and suggestions/solutions.
