OK!!!! ready to swap some stuff....just hit 75 grand on the big O-damn-its-alot-of-miles-meter.... what is the BEST recomended set of wires plugs rotor cap to buy? i started buying bosche wires and plugs (platnium 4 plugs) but i heard that them plugs dont run well with this motor....havnt put them in yet...just wondering what everyone else uses and is happy with... DAMN THE DEALER!! they dont know jack.... 01 Dodge Ram Sport 5.9L 360 BEAST! thanks....also ready to put in the Vavoline MAX LIFE oil and a K&N oil filter.... good idea? yes - No? thanks yalls

 

I just changed out my plugs for the Platinum +4 in my 02 4.7L. No problem and a bit better response off the light. No wires or rotor for me but I did go with a K&N air filter.

I personally went with the AMSOIL 5W-30 synthetic and Super Duty filter for my truck.

I have the same engine and I just put in NGK V power plugs and Accel 300+ wires. It has smoothed out the idle and I am impressed.
