have you checked the ignition timing with a timing light?

 

How did you get that code????
Chrysler does not show a code 43 for your truck
I can help if you can get a 4 digit "P" code like P0455
Also make sure your battery and Alternator are OK, Low system Voltage raises hell with the on-board systems
