I bought a used '03 Ram 2500 w/o the clearance/cab lights. Dodgeparts.com sells the lights that can be installed. Has anyone here done this type on install on their truck? Any advice?

Another thing, is the wiring already near the headliner? If not where is the plugin? Is the roof marked on the inside(under the headliner)

 

I toyed with this idea as well, but can't stand the thought of drilling holes in my new truck.

 

Don't know for sure if the wires are already up in the headliner or console already. I also dread the thought of putting holes in a perfectly good roof. Maybe I'll get brave and do it when the newness of the truck wears off. The dealer wants $200 + the lights to do it, but I don't trust them to do it right.

 

Id have to guess.. doubtfull on the wires being there, or some kinda mark on the inside. Id think they are drilled from factory, by computer with all the settings stored in it. Dunno.. just my .02 cents worth

 

I dont think the lights are worth it, the truck looks alot cleaner without them... IMO.
