After smoking it all over decided to trade '99 Ram 1500 ST with A/C leaky evaporator,bad speed control sensor and "check engine" light that just came on (all at 59,445 mi) on a '04 2500 SLT Quad Heavy Duty 4x2. Original selling dealer "promised" I shouldn't have same experience with the '04. Gave a VERY fair deal with invoice,less rebates,less $300 Business Link AND 500.00 above max Retail value for the old Ram (goat).

Thing that really gets me though is in Florida there are no extended warranties for cars/trucks so the 4 yr/100,000 Powertrain Care Plus that comes free with Business Link couldn't be written.[:@]

Shoulda got the Cummins if you got the 2500. But other than that, sounds like an awsome truck man!

 

Weighed cost vs. benefit..........truck is used in business and only 10,000 miles a year just can't justify it.We're on a barrier island in Northeast Florida and don't range out much Besides,....I see (in our future) a 3500 Dualie in 2006 when the new bodies hit. THAT one will be Cummins. [sm=smiley20.gif]
