I gotta tell you....I didn't buy a 4700 lb 4WD 345 HP truck with 3.92 gears because it gets such good gas milage. DUH

Sorry, just poking a little fun. My mileage sucked as bad as yours when the truck was new but picked up a couple of mpg after a break in peroid, I' thinking it was somewhere around 2000 miles. My driving is almost all city (stop lights every 1/4 mile and 35 mph speedlimits) and I'm at about 10.5 mpg. I occasionally make a trip that's about half city and half expressway (50 miles round trip) and have squeezed 14mpg. On the same trip sometimes I tow a 4000 lb dump trailer and am usually under 12mpg. At $2 something a gallon what's a person to do? Walk? Life sucks and then you die. For me, this would be the suck part.

I've now got a whopping 160 miles on my truck and have an indicated average of 14.8mpg in mixed driving.

I've got the 4 door with the 20's and the 3.92's and considering im just 17 i probabaly drive crazier than most of you. So right now im sitting at about 10.6. Highest ive ever gotten on average is about 11.8. It sucks but i cant control myself.

On Average I get 18-19 around town and on the highway.
If I drive the speed limit. I can get into the 20-21 range .
The highest I have got was 21.87 but after that I quit worry bout mileage and dropped the hammer
I just hate driving that slow.
Those are using a actual calculator and not the indash er roof console
Although it isnt off by more than a 1/2 mpg usually
Also thats with the 17's and 3.55 rear , Quad Cab
90% highway mileage
On avreage my round trip is 150+ miles a day .
I usually log a 1,000 miles a week pretty easy just going to work.
It helps with the mpg i am getting out of the truck for sure as most peeps I see with bad mileage only drive a few miles a day.
