Window tint
This may have been asked before but I couldn't find it. What or why did Dodge only Tint the rear side windows on the quad cab? I guess that is better than no windows tinted, but Why not go ahead and tint the rear window???? In the manufacturing process it couldn't have cost more than a few cents to do. Hell I would have paid a couple dollars more for the rear window to be tinted!

RE: Window tint
I have the solid window in my 04 QC and it was NOT tinted. Still don't understand why it would not be tinted from the factory, I would have really liked that. However, I went ahead and tinged the driver\passenger\back on my own.

RE: Window tint
Does anyone know the actual %age of the rear tint? Because I would like to get the front two windows and the rear the same tint that way it doesn't look odd because it's too light or dark.

What about the color of the tint? I've seen some that is a little more amber in color... some that is a little more grey.
I have 20% in the car, but that looks a little darker than what my truck has in the back. It's hard to tell though.
I actually saw a quad cab (non-dodge) yesterday where the front windows were darker than the factory tint on the rears. Looked so terrible!

If it looked like there was amber in it, it was a colored or cheap tint. If you just go with a good grade automotive tint, then it should match just fine. If you take your truck in to get tinted, they will be able to tell you what percentage to use... I just know 20% good quality auto tint worked on my truck.
