tire problem
I guess I left out a lot of information.
1) the vehicle was hit on the left side two years ago, but has driven fine, except it pulled to the right sometimes. I've had it aligned three times and everytime it was perfect. Dealer said must be the tires. I replaced the tires yesterday and the tireman pointed out the left inside had been rubbing against the lower arm where the shock attaches. It's fine on the right side. I taken this thing to 8 places and the immediated first reaction after they hear about the wreck, is that something is bent. Two body shops see no evidence of anything being bent and the wreck was not a severe crash, more or less a scrape, $1500 damage replacing fenders and lights. The next reaction is, "gee we don't know". Take it to a front end specialty shop. The dealer said, "we can replace everything and that should work". My inclination is to forget it or trade it.

Solved or at least fixed.
Took the Ram to a front end place today and the first thing they asked was if the wheels were from a Durango. I don't know, bought the truck when it was a year old. Nothing bent, nothing out of alignment, so i took someone else's advice and welded a stop to keep the wheel from hitting the control arm. I guess I could research and see if the wheels were from a Durango, but it was cheaper to weld the stops. This forum is great!!
