Default Help on pro comp shocks installation

Just purchased Pro comp shocks for my ram, I was told the rear shocks are installed with the boot at the bottom and then again was told they are installed on the top. Who is right? Funny thing is that they both work at the same place...Scary!!!! Anyone has them on their truck your help is appreciated.

Boots should be up. That's how Ranchos were on my other truck, how Bilsteins are on my current truck. I've never seen someone mount shocks with the boots at the bottom.
