torque management on an 03 hemi
From reading several threads about it, it sounds like disconnecting that wire does the same thing to an '03 that the new tow/haul button does on the '04. The tow/haul mode is supposed to make shifts stronger and let it hold gears longer, right?
Has anyone driven their '04 around with this button pushed wile NOT towing?
Any reason to think this would screw up anything?

I dont know if it does the same thing the tow/haul does, but I know you can disconnect the wire in question. Most people that i have heard that have done this noticed a difference. Also, if I am not mistaken, the tow haul button also does not allow use of 5th gear and allows the use of each gear longer... I will try to find the information and post it here.
Here is what I found, this will only work on the '03's, will not work on the '04's like I have...[:@]
"The Next Gen Controller (PCM) is located on the firewall on the passenger's side, behind the airbox. On the 5.7L the wire is on the bottom connector(C4), No. 7 Pin; and on the 3.7L it is on the next to the bottom connector(C3), No. 13 Pin. It is easier to get to if you remove the top of the air cleaner box."
