I am looking at a 2001 Ram 1500 5.9 extended cab 4x4. My qyestiosn are this what are problem areas to look out for engine wise and others? I use to have a 98 Ram 1500 with the puny 3.9 that had 2 options AC and auto trans and it was horrible in every respect other than reliability and the stiff frame with e decent ride. what were the changes in all regards between 98 and 01?
