My '03 did this after a about 600 miles on the truck. When I wasn't moving the speedometer would bounce all over the place but once I got moving it was fine. I took it in thinking they were going to change the sensor...well it turns out that where my ABS computer is mounted water found its way into the connection. All I had to do was unplug it and blowthe waterout and it fixed the problem. Worth a shot I suppose.
