Anyone installed 15" wheels on this type of vehicle? I'm wanting to get a set of American Racing Outlaw I wheels, but have beentold by a local dealer that15's will not fit. They made this decision based on the fact my truck currently has 16's. They said I can go up in wheel size but not down because the smaller wheel will not fit over thecalipers. These Outlaw I's, unfortunately, are not available in anything over 15". National Tire & Wheel's fitment guide (www.ntwonline.com) indicates 15's or 16's will fit. I'd prefer not to buy just to see if they will fit. So, any feedback will be appreciated.</P><edited><editID>abarad</editID><editDate>37947.5801967593</editDate></edited>
Hi abarad, I´m pretty sure that they will fit, because two buddys drive with 15" for a long period.Their Rams were built in ´99 and ´96.Don´t think that the callipers diameter were changed during the later model modifications. To get absolute sure you could drive to your local rimdealer and check it out with a old 15" one.</P>

I'd measure widest points from the front of the rotor to the edge of the caliper... and then measure the back of the wheel and compate. I would not listen the dealer... they will generally always go against a Mod...
