i traded in my mustang gt at the time, and it had a stick, i asked if they had any stick rams on the lot (i didnt do much research on the hemi's before i went shopping, i didnt know they made only automatics). and what i posted above is pretty much what i was told. maybe it was a load of crap, but i didnt put much thought into it, as i didnt thinkt theyd be so rare, i just wanted the truck as fast as possible, so i took the auto.

the guy distinctly said to me they can order it, this was in december.

 

Yeah I've talked to the dealer about that option, but I wouldn't want to wait either!

 

News to me. A Hemi 1500 with a stick would be the schiznit. I'll confirm that news with my dealer and I might just decide to trade up next year and special order that. A stick in that would be worth 3 tenths in the 1/4 mile with a good driver.
