Default Amsoil Synth Question

Hey, I'm currently using Amsoil Synthetic 5W-30, I'm about to go on a road trip tomorrow and need to change my oil anyway. I was wondering With the Summer heat should I be using something other than 5W-30 I have an 04 Ram 5.7 Hemi. I'm going to the desert area of Oregon and the temps have been up in the 95+ range and my truck is used to driving in Washington weather.

Any Help would be most appreciated, like I said I leave tomorrow so hopefully I can get some help before then

Thank you

You going to be towing anything? My dealer told me to stick with 10W-30 synthetic (Mobil 1) year around down here where it's 95 degrees or more a lot of the time. Plus the SRT-4 engine runs hotter than Hades to begin with.....

I'd just go by what the owner's manual says for the temp range you're expecting.
