I currently have a 94 dodge ram 1500 slt with a 5.2L motor, the transmission is rough, its an automatic, and it shifts up a little roughly, but when you come to a stop from a high gear, it dosent like to downshift, and causes it to stall. I also thought that it could have something to do with the torque converter, but im not sure. If anyone could help please let me know

Tough to diagnose trans issues over the internet but sounds like a Idle concern AND maybe a trans concern also. It;s usually cheaper to just let the dealer look at it then try to guess at it. Try cleaning the throttle body and resetting the IAC counter(disconnect the battery)
