Actually, yes I have, but I've been beaten by "those who know" and told to just go with a Performance Intake... remember, I'm just a dumb girl who doesn't know any better.
LOL!! Anyway, I looked into doing that, but it's quite pricey, and I might as well get an M1 Intake for the steal I can get it at and if anything, I'll KNOW it does what it's supposed to.
Do you have any more advice on the gears? I'm leaning towards the 4.10... and I need to decide ASAP. I keep hearing they are very similar, well... I need to know why I should get one over the other.![Smile](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I started to type a paragraph on the gears, then I realized who would be reading this.
Amanda. You will be happier with the 4.10's. They will give you the max. performance between the 2 choices. Just remember, that it will be a little more likely to spin the tires come rainy/snowy weather.
Once you get this thing together, let me know. I can probably hook you up with a cool parachute so you can come to a stop.[sm=smiley2.gif]
We might have to start calling you dodgegirl190. 190 MPH![sm=lol.gif]

You realized who would be reading this? What does that mean? LOL! I understand everything about the gears... you can get technical with me... it's other people talking to me as a 'dumb girl who doesn't know any better' that I can't stand.
I've been leaning towards the 4.10 all along, I might just have to get new tires more often. LOL! Thanks for your input!!![Smile](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I'm just worried that the 4.10 is too much and I'll lose my ability to be fast off the line because I'm spinning tires... your thoughts?

Oh no. I wasn't referring to any lack of technical understanding. I know you would most likely be concerned about the performance and the 4.10's will do better than the 3.90's. That's all.
I have a funny feeling the next thing your going to get is a set of bigger/wider rims and tires.

Nah, I love my stock rims... I'm a kook about that. And I just got new skins to wrap around them, so I don't think I can afford new tires and rims... LOL!!

I think you made a good choice with the 3.91's. if you went with the 4.10's, The Lady in Red would be wound out pretty good at highway speeds with stock sized tires. I think ppl usually use 4.10's on trucks if they're running 35 to 37" tires to keep it in the power band.

No problem, I was just worried that you'd pick the wrong size, then it would have been money down the drain and even worse, you might have been so disappointed that you may have actually fallen out of love with The Lady

The 3.91's are probably the better choice for the street. The revs. probably wouldn't be to bad on the HWY. with the overdrive in these trucks. Either way, you'll be happy.
