Clutches don't need to hold HP-they need to hold torque and the OE cltuch does a good job of handling the 500+ ft lbs the Cummins puts down. Are you having specific problems?

It sounds like u should look into Centerforce clutches. They are the brand that my drag racing buddies swear by and also what alot of the pro's use. They also have different levels of performance so i'm sure u can find something useful.

I forgot to mention my truck is no longer at 500ft lb of torque it is closer to 700ft lb and when I get done it is going to be in 1000 - 1300 range I have looked at some of the south bend clutches that are a 13 1/2 upgrade that they say will hold 500hp and 1200 ft lb of torque. I am wondering if any body knows any thing about these clutches?

I hope it will once I get it complete but you never get a toy complete. I am planning on sending it to www.maximumaltitude.com in SanAntonio TX to put either a 15" or a 20" lift a friend of mine has his truck on their website his is a 99 white cummins with 22" lift.
