1991 TRANNY LEAK?

I HAVE A 91 3/4 TON DIESEL AND IT IS LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID AROUND A TRIANGLER PLATE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TRANSMISSION. WHAT COULD THIS BE AND HOW TO FIX IT?
