I was doing some shopping around for a good CAI, and came across this setup. I've read everything the guy has to say and I must admit it looks and sounds like a good product. Just wondering if anyone has this intake or if everyone could give me their 2c's worth about what they think about it. I know everybody has their pitch, but like I said this sounds like a very well thought of product. Here's the link

AIRRAM has 14hp & 15tq at 5100rpms which looks like their max gain. aFe has it's max gain of 20hp & 24tq at 4000rpms.

 

the insulated part seems pretty cool. need a CAI for my car yet, looking at K&N.

 

I decided to go with the AIRRAM setup. I'll get some pics up as soon as it gets under the hood and let ya know how everything turned out. I liked the fact that it had insulation to further prohibit heat from getting to the incoming air as well as the relocation of the air sensor so that the comp will read the cooler air. Is all that stuff a gimmic? Who knows, but we'll find out. Until next time...

I'm playing the "back order" game right now. They said I should recieve it in 10-11 days. I'll have some pics up as soon as everything is good to go.

 

On their site, notice it says 4 week backup. You'd be LUCKY to get it at the end of the month
