Default Installed a new grille...

I wasn't a big fan of the OE honeycomb grille on my new Ram....so I installed an OE chrome grille insert tonight. I ended up picking it up at the local Dodge dealership. They cut me a decent deal.

I like the look much better...CHROME IS GOOD.

NICE!! Looks great along with the rest of your front end!

Did you graduate from U of K? (Is that right...? I'm in Michigan... no idea about schools in kentucky... LOL!)

You got it....I am a proud UK alumni. (In order to get a degree from the University of Kentucky you have to sign a sworn statement in blood that you'll be a UK Wildcat fan for the rest of your life and fly the big blue flag. HAHA)

HEMI TT,

The install wasn't bad, once Forrest Gump here realized that once all of the bolts and nuts were removed that hold the grille shell in place, there is still a tacky adhesive foam strip around the ends of the grille shell. I removed all of the hardware and then stood there scratching my head, because I couldn't get the grille shell to pull away from the front end. I kept searching for the one bolt that I must have missed....that's how stout the adhesive foam strip was. After finally realizing it was there, I scored it with a razor blade and then got the cohones to really put some umph on the shell to remove it. After that little hangup, the install was cake.
